U10 Training 3/26 & 3/27
Open to Girls and Boys under 10 wanting to play soccer. This event is held during the tryouts on Saturday March 26th 1pm to 2pm at Saint Vincents School and Sunday March 27th 1pm to 2pm at Lucchessi Field. More Information available on the program at the field.

Premier Development Academy U10
The Premier Development Academy is designed for U10 boys and girls that desire to learn and develop their soccer skills in a fun environment. The Academy will provide training to help kids learn the basic technical skills that will lay the foundation for their enjoyment of soccer in the future. The trainers will be Petaluma United trainers and coaches with tons of experience training kids to become better soccer players while also encouraging a love for the game. The Academy is a combination of technical training along with league play and jamborees to test new skills and have fun competing. Training will take place in May and June while new skills are learned, and the training staff has an opportunity to evaluate the soccer proficiency of each player. Near the end of June the Academy staff will form the players into teams based on their skill level. The newly formed teams will then prepare to play in their appropriate playing league based on their skill level either the PYSL recreation league or CCSL.

9 am for U6 coaches, 10 am for U7 and 11 am for U8 coaches.

Recreation U6-U14 Team Training
Recreation teams are encouraged to join the PYSL FREE Team Trainings at Prince Park. U6-U10 teams Monday & Wednesday 4 pm to 5:30 pm; U12-U14 teams Tuesday & Thursday 4pm to 5:30 pm. Four weeks only. July 25 to August 19. Competitive Team trainers will lead your teams in practice of skills being taught at the competitive level.

Join the Petaluma Youth Soccer League as we celebrate the exciting kick off for the 2011 soccer season. Soccerfest 2011 will be held at the Lucchesi Soccer Field, on Maria Drive, at Lucchesi Park in Petaluma on August 18th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Sonoma Honey Tournament
As mentioned at Draft night, all U12 and U14 Recreational (Division 4) teams are eligible to participate in the Sonoma Honey Invitational tournament on Sept 24-25. If you would like to play in this tournament, please complete the application ASAP, as per website below. In addition, you must also submit a copy of birth certificate and 1x1 photo of each player, and 1x1 photo for each Coach/Asst Coach to Dianne Mitchell (PYSL Registrar) in order to participate in any CYSA sanctioned tourney. These will get you your required credentials -- player/coach passes and official "golden rod" roster -- which you must present at check-in the Friday night prior to the tournament. Dianne will need a few weeks for turn-around, so if you plan to participate, please submit the above ASAP. Note the above credentials can also be used for the CYSA Founders Cup at the end of the season, usually in December.

Coaches City Cup/Jamboree Meeting
at Sports City (Cotati Facility). If you can't be there, please send a team representative. Note times below:
U10s start by 7:00 pm (start with Jamboree, All-Stars, discuss potential league rule changes, the Draft, your suggestions, feedback)
U12-14s start by 8:00 pm (start with potential league rule changes, the Draft, your suggestions, feedback)
A small sided fun game will be set up for coaches and their children who wish to play and "Kicker, the Sports City mascot will be there. If you wish to bring your kids, please do so. Shinguards are always a good idea.
There will even be food and beverages!

Fall Rec Fest 6v6
at Sonoma State. This is a fun tournament consisting of 4 or 5 small sided 6v6 games. See the Tournament page for more information.

U10 All Stars
games will be held on November 4th. Two training sessions will be conducted on November 1st and 3rd from 4PM to 5:45 for Girls and 5:45 to 7:30 for Boys at Lucchessi Park. Games are all on November 4th starting at 4:00 PM (girls) with awards following and 6:00 PM (boys.)
