Volunteer of the Year |
Mark Eglin this year created and maintained the PYSL Website. His energy is limitless, his creativity is limitless and he has built PYSLs best way of communicating with its players and parents. This was one of PYSLs goals based on parent comments and Mark made it happen.
|
Lifetime Achievement |
Gil Barquerohas been contributing to Petalumas youth soccer program for PYSL entire existence. He began by helping to introduce soccer to the Bay Area by being a founder of the San Francisco mens leagues in the 1950s. He then helped Petaluma become the first affiliated youth league in the North Bay in the mid 1970s. And he has been coaching ever since. Gil is cutting back on his coaching after this year but promises to be around to help even more kids in the future.
|
Recreational Coach |
Dan Shultz consistently teaches not only soccer to the girls on his team, but more importantly great lessons in teamwork, sportsmanship, perseverance, respect and self esteem. We wish the positive enthusiasm of this coach could be bottled and freely distributed.
|
Competitive Coach |
In his first year as Head Coach, Randy Hartlieb helped his team achieve success and enjoyment, and was instrumental in our successful Division 3 tournament. He has an infectious caring for kids and enthusiasm in seeing the kids enjoy themselves while leading them to great gains in their skills.
