Competitive Program

The competitive program is structured into different levels to provide highest level of soccer offered in the state of California and is designed for the player who is highly talented and committed to the game of soccer to the player who desires a more challenging experience than "house" ball but hasn't attained the performance level needed for the Premier level.

Sometimes called Traveling teams, the Petaluma Competitive Teams represent the Petaluma Youth Soccer League in the District V Playing League of the Cal North. These teams typically play six home games and six "away" games (most usually played in Marin, Napa and Sonoma counties) during September, October, and November.

During the entire month of August, and on the last weekend of September through December, teams may participate in tournaments where they play teams from other districts to further sharpen their skills.
