Petaluma Youth Soccer League is pleased to announce the first 2017 new referee class. This class is for persons who have never refereed before or who have let their existing license lapse beyond one year. This class will get you your Grade 8 license. This license gives you the capability to officiate most games in our geographic region. Of course, before jumping into a World Cup soccer game, you may need a little bit of experience under your belt, but this is the place to start.
The course is designed to be quick, thorough and engaging. The first classroom is Thursday, April 27th from 6 PM till 10 PM. Then Friday, April 28 from 6 PM till 9 PM. Followed by Saturday morning the 29th from 8 AM to 12 PM in the classroom and from 12:30 PM till 4:30 PM on the field. Truth be told, Saturday's class usually ends a little bit ahead of schedule. There is a requirement for a couple of hours of online studying before the class begins, but you have ample time to do this.
Below is the link to click and get started with the course registration. You must register ahead of time and complete the online portion before the classroom work begins on the 27th of April.
